Pricing

Let’s start with month-to-month plans, which sometimes is more realistic for people. Both offer it, but at different price points. Remedy Meds compounded semaglutide is a little higher than SkinnyRx, while SkinnyRx’s compounded tirzepatide is much lower than Remedy Meds.

Where the big pricing differences show up is the multi-month plans. Remedy Meds only offers month-to-month, while SkinnyRx offers 1, 4, 6 and 12 month plans, and these prices are significantly lower when looking at monthly equivalents. Medication Offerings

Remedy Meds offers compounded GLP-1 only, while SkinnyRx offers compounded GLP-1s and the new Wegovy and Foundayo oral pill, which requires a SkinnyRx membership fee, starting at $49 for the first month, then going up to $149 per month after that. Medication is separate.

Another major difference is Remedy Meds compounded microdosing plan, and at a very affordable rate. SkinnyRx just offered microdosing, starting July 2nd, 2026, but their month-to-month plans are much more expensive than Remedy Meds. It’s important to know that microdosing is not an FDA approved dosing schedule.

State Coverage

Remedy Meds operates in all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C., while SkinnyRx operates in 47 U.S. states - the three states they don’t cover are Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi. This can change at any time, so always double check with the provider.

App (SkinnyRx) vs Patient Portal (Remedy Meds)

The SkinnyRx app is included in your care plan subscription. Inside the app, patients can message providers, set up consultations, submit their refill form, track medication and set reminders, and generate high-protein meal plans and recipes. It currently has a 4.7/5 star rating on Apple, and 4.4 / 5 on Google Play - this indicates that users like the app and it works.

Remedy Meds has a similar setup, but theirs is a patient portal - it’s a website address, not a mobile app. Inside their patient portal, users can message the care team, their provider and submit refill forms. There’s also a high protein recipe generator. So, yes, it’s somewhat similar to SkinnyRx’s app, but at the same time, it is not the same exact experience, which is why I put this under differences.

What’s Similar Between SkinnyRx and Remedy Meds?

Similarities between these two online GLP-1 providers are more behind the scenes, and the fact they offer compounded weight loss medications. Each provider will connect you with a licensed provider, and if you’re deemed eligible, the doctor may issue a prescription, which is then sent to licensed U.S. pharmacies.

Currently, neither provider discloses their partnered pharmacies. However, even if they did list them, the pharmacy that ships to you will depend on where you live.

Both Remedy Meds and SkinnyRx have professional feels when it comes to their website, intake form and entire operation. It’s no surprise to me, because they’ve been in this business far longer than most other GLP-1 providers. They are both premium options.

Each provider tends to go a little aggressive on marketing, making some pretty bold claims. However, they do back it up with “self-reported” data from their members.

My Recommendations

If I were choosing between Remedy Meds or SkinnyRx, here’s how I would decide:

• Compounded GLP-1: Either brand is a great option, and they have the amount of customers to prove it - both are very established with high trust.
• Reputation: Remedy Meds has a slightly higher brand reputation, although SkinnyRx isn’t far behind.
• Budget: For your first month, Remedy Meds offers a heavy discount, but you’ll end up paying full price after month one and beyond. If budget was a deciding factor for me, I’d go with SkinnyRx.
• Microdosing: I’d go with Remedy Meds because they’re much cheaper than SkinnyRx on a month-to-month plan.
• Brand-name GLP-1s: SkinnyRx is the clear winner between these two brands when it comes to convenient brand-name GLP-1s, such as Foundayo™ Pill and Wegovy® Pill. However, I would 100% compare them to other GLP-1 telehealth providers that offer the same care plan.
• Bulk, multi-month care plans: SkinnyRx is the only provider between the two that offers 4, 6 or 12 month plans on their compounded medications. Plus, they offer buy now, pay later with affirm, just in case you can’t swing the full payment.
